We had a very large solar flare on Friday as Sunspot 1046 produced a M8.3 Flare - This was the largest flare of Cycle 24. An R2 Radio Blackout did take place. It also appears that a geoeffective full-halo CME was associated with it. There is a very good chance this Coronal Mass Ejection could reach earth by Monday and produce geomagnetic storming and splendid Auroras on both Monday the 15th & Tuesday the 16th. This is for real. It was also predicted by me on my previous forecast the 28th of January . Should be one of the best auroras in years as this was a big flare. So if you are a real freak - get on an airplane tommorrow or the next day and go north to see it!!!

I am really looking forward to this. Clear skies are presently also predicted over South Iceland these 2 nights. We are almost sold out - but there are plenty of places to stay in Iceland.
