Hotel Rangá 's picturesque surroundings offer view of the famous Mt. Hekla to the North; a range of mountains, glaciers and a live volcano to the North-East; and of the Westman Islands to the South. Hotel Ranga is located in the middle of what we are now calling "The Ring of Fire" - an exciting area with geothermal and volcanic activity all around. The newest available daytrip is an excursion to the Westman Islands via the new ferry from nearby Bakki!
